Chef Lou Fiore began working in restaurants in high school as a dishwasher at Anna's on Main in South Glastonbury before working his way up to garde manger and every station in between. He has worked in the restaurant industry as a BOH jack-of-all-trades over the past fifteen years, most recently at El Pollo Guapo and Mercado Food Truck prior to making his home at Zohara.
Chef Lou loved travelling to Rome in Italy, says his favorite thing to both eat and cook is pizza, and detests disorganization.
Gabriela Angelini
General Manager
Gabriela Angelini has been working in the industry for nine years specializing in the front of the house. She began her management career with Buffalo Wild Wings for five years working from a front of the house manager to a traveling general manager assisting in overseeing her franchise's stores across five different states.
Gabi recently came to the group after running a new restaurant opening in Durham, CT. She works closely with the team to make sure we are honoring our commitment to our community by fostering an environment that encourages guests and team members to be adventurous, strive for excellence, and enjoy the experience Zohara has to offer. Gabi is eager to continue working with the team and continue the next chapter with the DORO Restaurant Group.

Assistant General Manager
Kara Rosado has been serving and bartending in restaurants and at private events for over 15 years. Most recently before joining Zohara as a server in 2020 she had been waitressing at Viron Rondo Osteria for 5 years. Kara is devoted to making every restaurant she works at feel like home for her staff and guests. She is very excited to have been offered a management opportunity with the DORO group and is looking forward to growing within the company.
